About me...

After more than a decade as a college Vice President and President, program development specialist, professional counselor, and career coach, I formed my own production company and set out on an extended global research expedition; working and living in 20 states and 12 countries on six continents, I fulfilled a vocation and innovation exploration project called "12 Months to Live."  Each month for a year, I experimented with a new career or personal passion. I worked with the United Nations World Food Program in Nepal, walked alone into the Cascade Wilderness for a three day/three night solo fast vision quest, and shot an adventure film while trekking up Everest.

After completing my circumnavigation of the globe, I rediscovered my calling as an academic program developer and manager, education consultant, professional counselor, and instructor.

I’ve provided this online portfolio of collaborative research projects and testimonials from clients as an addendum to my application.

I continue to look forward to the possibility of utilizing my leadership experience, administrative expertise, and passion for innovation in program development at Indiana Wesleyan University.

One of My Favorite Quotes:

“We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.”  Mother Teresa

My Project Management Experience, Client Stories, and Websites

“Dave and I have been working together for the past six years, and in that time he has become more than a colleague; he has become a friend. A recommendation on his behalf comes easily and without hesitation. With regard to Dave's character - kindness and courage are two words that instantly come to mind…”

While living in Africa, I collaborated with a community of young Senegalese, djembe-making musicians called the Malika Monkeys and Aywa International on the development of their bio-fuel motor.  I produced, directed, and shot the following videos of their first bio-fuel motor launch and music video.

I continue to consult with the Malika Monkeys and their diverse, multi-national team of constituents on the development of their trade school and bio-fuel motor project.  I am currently facilitating a research project and proposal for the University of Cincinnati and Indiana Wesleyan University that would establish a well irrigation system in villages throughout Senegal.
